TRD Steering Wheel was finally delivered today! Although I’m not fully sold on it... we’ll see if I end up keeping it.

Those are really nice. I considered one for a while, but the price kept me away. I like the thickness of the wheel itself and the robust design. Not sure if it's actual leather-wrapped or just that simulated stuff the use on the stock steering wheel.

So I actually never cared to look into this steering wheel, but I picked up for a steal and couldn’t pass it up... now that I have it, I REALLY like the way it feels... feels beefier and just good in the hand. The only issue I have with it that’s killing me is, the previous owner decided to paint the freaking stitching black... and it just bothers me lol. I’m looking into getting it restitched but also they got a little of the black paint on the red middle segment and I’m pretty unsure how to approach it at this point.

I would try to take the paint off with some mineral spirits and a q-tip first. I thought it looked weird with black stitching!

I’m gonna have to look into that and see how abrasive it is with leather. I’ve reached out to sweidit to see if they could do anything and they said they would only reupholster the whole thing which would mean I would lose the embossed TRD and Momo logos... so yeah we’ll see what I come up with, if not then I guess it’ll be going up for sale haha

Yeah would try a small patch, maybe there where the airbag covers it, to see if it discolors it. I would imagine the leather, or leather-like material, they use for the steering wheels, has to be pretty resistant to fading and cleaners.

After 6+ years of ownership finally put on some new wheels, OZ Veloce GT’s. Half inch wider than stock, same weight and a bit more flush (+35 offset).
