Well, maybe its just a miscommunication or misunderstanding then.

Both, the VLAND sales reps don't seem to have the best English communications skills based on interactions I had with one of their vendors and the supposed VLAND representative that caused numerous headaches in wrong address deliveries and not fulfilling the order properly.

That being said their adaptors are plug and play for the most part for 86's and BRZ's. Only seems to be the early model FRS's that require wiring.

My 2016 86 has the indicators above the fog lights, with no headlight indicators. As I said in this thread earlier I was able to connect mine plug and play, not requiring either of the adaptors they provided and just reusing the OEM plug that was connected to my OEM headlight.

Granted the DRL's don't work automatically (although I don't know that they do for any car without modification) but the sequential indicators and everything else works fine with my stock indicators still working and intact.
Like the guy above said, you get what you pay for, most people buying these are going for the looks factor. I'm personally satisfied with them- is their light output better than stock? no- Is it still sufficient enough for visability? yes- Do I regret my purchase and am considering going back to stock? Nope

The actual wiring for FRS's doesn't really look too complicated based on install videos i've watched and can be reverse-able from what I've seen using quick splice connectors which are only a few dollars.

I agree none of it's complicated and the work itself doesn't concern me, I've done much more with stereos, etc, it was more about the misleading description than anything else. I like to know what I'm getting up-front to make an informed decision.

I guess it's a principle thing with me. I've returned perfectly serviceable car mods because the ad said one thing and then its delivered and you find out you have to go hunt down resistors or extra clips or whatever. All that should be listed up front.
