Poll: Carbon Fiber Lip for 10-Series

Confession: there are few rear spoilers I personally like for the FR-S/86. Most are overdone (even the OEM ones) or kind of kill the natural simple lines of the car.

I saw this one on Ebay, claiming to be actual carbon fiber. I like the subtlety of it; a simple accent that doesn't take away from the car's lines.

I've asked a few people and they say it's too subtle (for the $250 price).

So just wondering what you think: looks good, waste of money, couldn't care less? Thanks for your time.

Well, I can say I'm in the same boat as far as taste in spoilers. Most are overdone. I still think they look cool, but wouldn't buy one myself.

As far as this one, it looks like it does less of a job accentuating the rear lines than it does adding contrast to the car. If you have a lighter color paint, this will have the same effect. If you want to accentuate the curves more, check out a leg sport or duckbill spoiler. It continues that line of the rear fenders. Without the spoiler, it looks like that line just stops where it shouldn't. I'm personally looking to get one as well (paint match, not carbon fiber) for that same reason. Just can't make up my mind as to which one I want.

That's the problem with the 10-Series, very few parts painted to match the Ignition Silver. Thanks!
