good thing the mods copied and pasted everything onto our sister forum and surprised surprised everything was corrected. if you follow BMW/bimmerpost you would know leaks aren't anything new. it happens all the time. people talk, its human nature.

A lot of ‘leaks’ (including spyshots) are also intentional info drops and trial balloons, to generate buzz, to see how ideas are received, and so marketing can be adjusted based on likely market response, as gauged by public responses to the deliberate leaks.
