Toxic Detail And Performance Intake & Exhaust

I am not affiliated with them, but its yet another option and a unique exhaust at that.

Edit: They already started a thread on another forum section, but I will keep this thread that is more visible.

Toxic Detail and Performance brings the 1st of many aftermarket products for the exciting new 2013 Scion FR-S. Will Laney could't wait to get his hands on an FR-S. With a foundation in Turbos and Super Chargers, there will be much more to come. The Intake and Exhaust kit that he fabricated here is only the beginning. Feel free to contact Will with questions about this or any other application you might be interested in at 704-309-5357.

Cold air?? How?? It is sucking up the hot air from the behind the radiator.

Pipes welds? They look horrible. Sorry.

Not exactly a "cold air intake" with the filter exposed in the hot engine compartment.

The pics on the exhaust is a proto type. We weren't worried about looks when putting that one together just incase we didn't like the sound etc. we made only that one for that reason. And so we can make a jig for the kit if we decided to use it. We got a little excited and wanted to show everyone the setup! Lol. So sorry for the the ugly welds! The production ones won't look like that!!! Now all of the production ones wil be welded with a tig and look pretty.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but I was hoping to get an answer from "Toxic" regarding the intake. I am in the process of selecting what to do with, and I wondered whether or not you will be coming out with another intake as well, that is a true CAI? The one shown in the video is a short ram, and would be subject to breathing hot engine air, correct?

I'm sorry y'all for saying "cold air" intake in the video. This intake is what we are going to be offering for a "lower cost" option intake. I apologize again for saying "cold air" in that video. Now we are making another setup that does have a heat shield on it etc.

So again I apologize for fn up on camera. I will not do that again lol. I don't like cameras lol.

Yes you are correct. And again I do apologize. We are making another intake system that will be a "true" cold air intake. It's prob 3 weeks out before we have it done and start testing.

We should also have some dyno results this week too on the intake and exhaust.
