Bottas is hiding his frustration with not winning more often. If Lewis didnt exist, Bottas would be a World Champion. He knows it.

Lol you can't actually say that. Nico Rosberg would probably still be in Mercedes, and they might not have even hired Bottas. But yes, Hamilton is faster than Bottas 7 or 8 out of 10. Not much he can do about it. Doesn't have a chance anywhere else right now.

Bottas is still managed by Toto, driving for him at Williams he was where Ocon and Russell were/are. The Hamilton move was orchestrated by Lauda, if unavailable who knows who they would have snatched, but I would put money on Bottas arriving to replace Schumacher or someone else in between 2015-2018. The exception would be maybe Vettel but I doubt Vettel/Rosberg would have been any friendlier than Rosberg and Hamilton.

I think of it as three tiers of drivers in F1, first tier being multi year champions, true talents, Ham, Vet, Alonso, Schui, Prost, Senna, the second tier being guys who can dominate on their day, win a championship in the right car, Rosberg, Button, Raikkonen, I think Bottas is firmly in that second category right now and against any other teammate currently on the grid would take a championship fight down to the wire in the Merc.
