Its Subaru paint, they have a reputation for that. A thin (some say only one) color coat and clear coat.

Same problem with my RX-8. I clean it with one of those gadgets that's like a long handle with a pivoting cloth head at the end. Works great for the front too, you don't have to lean and reach foward to clean the farthest parts of the window.

I think we got ours at Kmart, but there are tons of variants and I'm sure any automotive store or section (indcluding Amazon) will have them. Looks like (one example):

The thing I hate the most are the rear speakers which I think are useless, can't hear anything on the back. I have a 99 Prelude SH with factory speakers & radio (Acoustic Feedback System) which sounds 100 times better than this one.... Thinking about buying the OEM Audio Plus 400 from Toyotapartsoutlet.com but at a $875 it will have to wait...
The roof antenna could be better
Other than that I really love this car, only have 750 miles on it but as far as handling and acceleration is way much better than my lude...

The way to clean the backlight is to lie on your back on the seat. You can clean almost the entire window from that position. Yes, it is that small!

I hate that it's in the shop for a day while the clear bra is getting installed, and I have to drive a crappy Camry as my rental. It is loaded though, but it is not a V6At least I can hook up my iPod

My AC gets really cold, like R12 cold.

My complaints about the car aren't really about the car but how I use it specifically.

I don't like the seats without a memory trigger for the recline. I have promo material I haul around so I have to fold the seats forward multiple times a day to get to the stuff I stash in back and the fact that they don't return to the position they were in just pisses me off. Oh well.

If I have something plugged into the 12v outlet I can't have the cup/holder/tray in the forward most position rendering it almost useless (radar detector with mute button on 12v plug).

What I really like

1: HD radio.. holy crap that's awesome. Everything's so clear!
2: Quiet Cabin. Seriously I've owned Hondas most my life and they're not known for quiet cabins.. previous car 1996 prelude, before that 2002 S2000... So yeah. It's nice to have a "quiet chat" while doing 70mph.
3: Low end TQ enough for driveability.
4: The "rear bumper applique". Seriously, I did not want this but the dealership forgot to not put it on so they made up for in another way but getting in and out of the trunk 6 times a day or more, the applique has already been "used" to protect the bumper, so yeah, glad that's there.
5: Parking brake DRL feature. I like how the parking brake deactivates the DRL's. I like having DRL's but if I'm sitting in the car with it running and it's in a parking stall facing a window'd restaurant it's nice to not have the lights in the faces of the patrons still inside.

And 6: The M.C. Echer effect... Standing outside of the car it seems so small but when I'm in the car it just feels so damn big and I'm 6' tall!

More gripes:

It's impossible to close the trunk without touching paint and getting fingerprints on it. it's a minor detail.

The blind spot is awful. I hate merging on the highway.

When opening the trunk, lift from the area where the license plate lights are.

When closing the trunk, close it by applying pressure to the license plate. Boom, no finger prints.

I touch the rear badge with like 2 fingers to close it, not enough to break it, it doesnt take much, and yes especially on a black car every print shows
