I wish Toyota would give us some real news behind the car so all these damned click bait articles would stop for a while.
Breaking news about the new 86/BRZ has been taking up space on my news feed on my phone for 3 days now lol. |

It’s funny to see all these random people think they’ve got it all figured out and are so confident they’re right on the money about what’s to come. Should make a compilation of all these self proclaimed internet car reviewers and news ‘journalists’ and how many times they’ve been wrong just about the 86/BRZ over the last decade.
The same people saying these things are the same people who were so confident every year that we were getting a turbo BRZ sti. Take all of it with a grain of salt. The world economy is not what it was 6 months ago. So much has changed.

To be completely fair about the YouTube videos, that's their livelihood and source of income, so they need to sound confident and also publish something every time an idea starts circulating.
I hate this period of inquisition- I just want the shit to come out and be a disappointment so I can happily continue living my life with a 2013 |

Regardless of the looks/engine, if it's got close to these N/A figures for the HP/Torque (~220/180), I'm all in. I don't even care what it looks like any more, as long as it doesn't look like the Civic Type-R.. so I'm setting my expectations super low regarding the looks lol.
I just hope the engine still revs to at least 7K RPM. I don't care for the turbo or AWD versions if they decide to go that route.
