Personally I would downshift but I can try 6th and see. What sort of speed range? At 60mph I can't imagine it being an issue. At 50mph I don't think it would be very happy.

Hey everyone, hope everyone has been enjoying the last bits of summer before it cools off!
I got a better mount for my DSLR, so I wanted to do a little redux of my header video. Has a little more variety in terms of driving situations as well.

Gonna bump this up to the top as I see many more people are running this header out in the wild! How are y'all enjoying it? I was planning a local dyno day earlier this year to compare the gains vs a stock vehicle on the same dyno/same day to have more data for everyone, but due to COVID that obviously couldn't happen.
I still wholeheartedly recommend this header if you're looking for an EL option. My car is still sounding and driving awesome. Hope everyone is staying safe!

I don't recall if I posted my dyno numbers after I went to E85, but here are my numbers.
You'll probably say, "these look low!" and "there's no comparison!", which are both accurate statements. But the one constant here is that these dyno runs were conducted in compliance with NASA's dyno testing procedures, which usually read low. Also, the only sounds you need are at full throttle

Just do it. Beside the ace350's these are fantastic headers. Love them with my boosted twin. And they are cheaper to boot than the ace headers

Nevermind the numbers, with ACE headers peak hp is usually around 7,400 rpm and the tq stays flat until around 7,000 rpm (my dyno sheet). Can JDL achieve that, or are you limited by class rules and had to detune at higher rpms?

Jeez @TMF when you went into that turn going 125MPH, I just about had a heart attack vicariously. What brakes are you using?

IT is odd that the torqu tapers off sharply on that dyno. Maybe timing is being pulled at 6400rpms.
