I would grab some OE touch up paint and paint those black clips to match. Much more subtle that way.

So what is broken and preventing the bumper from fitting back on correctly? The mounting holes on the bumper or the clips on the headlight brackets?

Make sure to post your results. I have a minor gap on mine that I was hoping to fix when I install new headlights in the near future. I was hoping that I might just need to replace the headlight brackets but now I'm worried lol.

OP said he got a new bumper and replaced the headlight brackets so I don't understand how that would not fix the gap if the plastic tabs being worn out is the issue. |
