I removed the kit this weekend and wanted to note that the catch can and lines on the PCV side were dry. Just another data point and YMMV. Only put about 4k miles on the kit, and it was trouble free after a few install hiccups. Best mod for the car imo but I'm about to trade in.

Man, if the ol' Corona hadn't put a dead halt for my job, I'd pick that sucker up in a heartbeat.

Just wanted to provide a quick update. I now have 30,000 miles on the supercharger. Runs perfectly. Completely OEM. I do need to change the belt soon. I have a spare. I get a little squeak from it when the AC kicks in and if I drop RMS too low pulling out. The belt has probably stretched and lost some of its grip.

Has anyone attempted to 3D Print a cover for the belt that will span the whole length of the belt? I'm thinking of trying it but if someone already has a premade file that would be great. I have a carbon fiber hood with louvers and rain gets into my bay so I would like to protect the belt a little. TIA

I want to say thank you to Matt @ Cosworth as he spent a lot of time helping me on the revision of my vehicle. I am very pleased with the after sales service.
For some odd reason my car is a bit tricky to tune due to poor fuel in Vancouver, BC (Canada). After 17th revision on my vehicle, my vehicle finally is ready to drive! According to the ECUTek datalog, I make about 310 Nm @ 5000rpm. Using those online torque to HP calculator, I make about 286hp @ 7000 rpm. I am happy with the result! Thanks Matt and Cosworth! I also purchased a vented hood and a beatrush undertray. Hopefully, it will lower my IAT. |
