Hi i need help with my front pipe for my 86. - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

Hi i need help, I'm not sure what Front pipe would work for my Toyota 86 Automatic.

I was looking at the Invidia Catless front pipe (NO RES) BUT alot of people were saying it wont work but some peopele say it works fine...

Can someone help me confirm this.?? OR tell me which one will work for sure.

I have a invidia n1 catback exhaust on rn would it sound good with the HKS dual resonator too?

Due deletion of 2nd catalisator and vendor not wishing to deal with non-street legality for that?
They put up the warning. Now it's upto customer to decide if to go against emissions rules.

I use JDL 2.5'' catted and resonated front pipe/overpipe on AT. No fitment issues and it's fitted with vband clamp. You can custom it to straight pipe which is cheaper than catted or resonated

I have no rasp/drone with stock header and HKS HiPower SpecL exhaust. My exhaust is also a straight-through design like Invidia N1 but comes with two additional resonators (one of them Helmholtz type). In total there are 4 resonators and 2 mufflers in the exhaust system and all of them are straight-through. Plus the supercharger increasing the exhaust pressure.

Yeah that's the one. They also have overpipe front pipe combo which includes both if you don't already have a 2.5 overpipe.

what size is the stock overpipe for the 2017 toyota 86? i was gonna leave that for now and get front pipe first.. would that work or no
