Gazoo Racing's Magic Fluid

I could never imagine that Gazoo Racing would promote such kind of bs. They call it Aero Stabilizing Body Coat and claim that can improve the handling of a sports car. They even say that if you apply it in specific parts of the body, then it can change the handling behaviour like the oversteer or understeer. Lol!

Here is the magic bottle:

And here is the official promotional video with evidence that it works! Can you find what is wrong with this video ?

At least it will help dust from sticking to the paint. Should look into this just for spraying on the trunk lip

I had stocked up with that awesome product. Since I am being very nice today, I can send you a bottle for just $5 (plus $40 shipping).

I'm sorry, you guys are buying into this after seeing 1 video that includes literally no engineering level data that shows a driver simply driving better and improving his V max... Is this all it takes to sell a product these day? Man, I wish F1 (whom spends tens of millions of R&D dollars on aero) knew about this $40 wonder spray.

TLDR: You can claim aero improvements without including CFD or wind tunnel data. Want the same improvement that this claims? Go out and wax your car.

$40 isn't that much. i don't believe it'll do anything, but considering toyota's typical 'seriousness' about everything, it'd be a fun bottle to bring to track days and the like. and when it runs out, fill it with your favorite quick detailer, claim the same results.

"oh, man, you must be new here."

"yeah, it's my first track day"

"i can tell, you're all over the course. hey, are you using any aero enhancements?"

"what"

"[opens trench coat] i've got this genuine toyota gazoo racing aero stabilizing body coat spray that does wonders. here let me show you: [applies it to one rear fender of someone in on the joke, car goes onto track, spins out towards the direction where the coating wasn't applied]. see?"

"..."

"i can coat your car for for only $40!"

Even if they do gather enough scientific data to prove their product actually does improve handling, I'd say Gazoo / Toyota should stick their brand name elsewhere; makes it feel like an April fool's joke and nothing remotely serious.

Oh, and I can already imagine TRD USA setting a sticker price of $100 to an even smaller bottle.
