STI stuff

Received from Japan and installed STI parts. It is too dark in garage, so photos on car will be a bit later.
Includes flex strut bar, leather shift knob(just love the feel! It is much heavier than stock), start push button, radiator cap, battery holder and oil filler cap.

Did a test fit for Tanabe's updated Medalion Touring exhaust today and got to keep the catback. The setup looks amazing and sounds deep, zero gap issues between the left and right exhaust tips too. Definitely going to sell my HKS axleback now.

Used this down time to give her a refresh. Since having our first son 4 years ago. She has gone untouched for most of that time.

And the boys approved the new setup.

Bought some new car parts and car detailing, interior and exterior, cleaning products. Going to be a really exciting and busy week ahead!

I'll probably spend about 3-4 hours just cleaning and caring for her, and as it should be!

Just finished the JRSC install. Completed the install of reverse cam and hacked the parking brake signal to the nav unit. All stuff I have had laying around for awhile but no time to complete, until the plague.

Cleaned my engine bay today. Reversible shop-vac is so useful for blowing the dirt out and drying the car after.

Also planning getting some of them. Were they cheaper than speed factor? Do you mind sharing the link. Thanks

I ordered on japanparts.com. It was a bit cheaper in my case and I got STI shift knob speedfactory doesn't have on their website. I ordered on Friday morning(Saturday in Japan already) and it came a week after on next Monday with UPS. I was happy about it. Best way to assess is to compare prices side by side and take in account shipping charges plus if necessary duties and taxes. Federal duty for car parts import is 2.5% if I looked it up correctly. Of course, if there is something you want and it is only available in Japan, then you got your answer.

That looks good! Idk what they were thinking with spelling “grille” wrong in their company name though.

Grill: what I will be doing this weekend. Smells good, tastes better.

Grille: protective metal covering. Allows bugs to lodge themselves inextricably between said metal, and become permanent fixtures on your car
It does look good! Always thought the bumper plastic was awkward...
