Not so overnight parts from Japan finally arrived today. Picked up at FedEx depot, had to inspect everything for damage as one of the boxes had a few holes in it. Thankfully no scratched parts as they were all packed well
Slapped on the TRD trunk and rear side spoilers on this evening. Was a bit painful putting holes into new trunk lid lol ![]() ![]() ![]()

Yeah the fed ex guy at the depot said he put in notes that the box was damaged and told me to call fed ex customer support if there were any issues. Went through blackhawkjapan their prices were a bit better and i liked the ability to pick the courier rather than what japanparts lists on their site that courier choice was up to them.

Has anybody tried Alcantara on the shifter and door trim?
I found this via AliExpress. The color looks pretty close to the OE trim panel on the dash. Edit: not much info on them so I'll be the guinea pig. Ordered the shift , door handle, and inner knee pad trim. Last edited by RToyo86; 05-15-2020 at 03:00 PM. |

It was ~5 hours work for me, since I did the first time. Someone with better tools and experience can do in 3 hours. No cutting or drilling involved but radiator needed a lot of wiggling mostly because of the ac pipes were getting in the way with oil cooler connectors. My work was maybe a little easier since I didn't have the factory airbox and a little harder since I had to remove the OEM oil cooler.

CF have been done so many times, don’t see much alcantara, so I think it’ll be unique and looks cool.
