wow still no torque! even after a turbocharger.
I'm curious if the engine will be able to take the boost even if it's just 4 psi. I'm concern about the longevity of the engine. |

For the longevity purposes, keep in mind that the manufacturer usually leaves a lot of room to grow, knowing people are going to modify their cars, and need to be able to have them meet the standards of the market. Even if the car is not under warranty, the manufacturer's reputation is on the line, when they are developing a sports car. No one wants to buy a sports car that can't handle upgrades. It just wouldn't make sense. |

How so? over 30wtq gain in the dip area, and 30wtq gain up top, that's pretty good if you ask me. And remember, this is only running 3psi and creeping to 4 up top. And I wouldn't worry about the engine. He has been daily driving it and as you can tell by the many videos, he has done multiple full throttle runs and countless number of dyno pulls. Yes it has high compression. But I have this theory, that having to withstand its own hight comression, and somewhat high RPM nature, it would have to be built pretty strong to begin with. That's why the F20's and F22's can handle over 700whp on stock internals. With its hight compression and high redline, Honda forged the internals. Not saying Subaru did the same, but im sure it was thought about in the engineering process. |

Don you should put all the updates, like photos, videos and info on the first page so other members don't have to search through 57 pages.
I have another question. Where are you planning to mouth the Boost gauge and the wideband meter?
