curious to hear the long term review on those parts. because it's where i rest my legs on long cruises, and the stock plastic is a little tough.

A week ago I had a wheel bearing and a cracked heat shield fixed that was rattling like crazy. Now that they are fixed I can finally hear how amazing my tomei uel sounds. My god I should have done it years ago. Puts a huge smile on my face every time I drive.

I've yet to take this car on a long trip. Plus I'm a small guy so I probably won't be of much help lol. They're softer than the bare plastic, but not as padded as they may look.

I bought some from a crashed 2015 FRS back in 2015 and I can’t imagine the car without them. My friends kick the door pad all the time when getting out of the car and they don’t show wear. It looks like the user you are quoting bought his knee pads from the newer 17+ models as the leatherette is smooth unlike the 13-16 dinosaur skin leatherette. While I feel the door pads have enough padding, I am not a fan of the OEM inner console knee pads. It seems the padding is only in the middle of the unit, so where you rest your knee may still be a bit hard. I have the JPM Coachworks units and they have padding that is uniform across the entire part. Sweidit does the same thing. It is incredible for street and track driving. |

don't know if you heard, but jpm is no longer an option, they went OEM, and no longer do custom orders.

Those look great and very professional! I was wondering if you know where I can get something similar for the bottom of the door panels? In have a disabled brother who often rides with me and he can't get out of the car without pushing the bottom of the door with his foot. He gets the door dirty and is getting it scratched. I tried to get him to take his shoe off and use his foot with a sock but he is not able to get his leg in a position to do that.
thanks |

I have the Tein Flex Zs. If you do not mind a firmer ride they are great. The softer settings make the car feel a little sloppy and not too precise. The recommend settings or firmer make for some sharp handling though. You will feel every little imperfection in the road. Will require camber bolts and rear lower control arms to get fitment right. Just something to keep in mind for budgeting.
