This is the last thing I did on the car about a month ago. Cleaned, checked and prepped! Was sidetracked due to illness. Coming out on the other side now and need to get back at it.

Finally installed Tom's side skirts I've had sitting in my garage for 6 months. Took 2.5 hours because I'm cheap, and used stuff doesn't come with instructions and hardware. 28 bolts later, they're secure. I'm never buying used mods again (that's a lie).

Made some skirts and spats out of foamed pvc from work. Looks super solid with the front splitter

That's weird, I took a picture with Tapatalk but it didn't post I guess.
I'll take some tomorrow. It's in the garage now ------------------------------------------------------------- I'm gonna call these "side splitters" instead of skirts since they are horizontal ![]() ![]() I dunno why the forum made these so grainy. Maybe because of the original file size? Last edited by Ashikabi; 04-27-2020 at 08:34 AM. |

Threw on some worn, 6-yo track rubber I had laying around, turned off TC/VSC and went for a drive. The tires were even less grippy than expected! Rear was sliding out pretty easily around corners. Was getting 0.5-1 s of wheelspin shifting into 2nd. Fun times. One of the rear tires started chunking a bit, but this is just bonus time with these tires anyway, they're nearing end of life.
Also adjusted my coilover ride height about 50 times. Never seems to do what I expect.

You'll be able to use your stock endlinks just fine. I have RCE Yellows and its not enough of a drop to get adjustable endlinks im sure down the road it'll be a worthwhile upgrade. You're gonna love the springs its one of my favorite mods!

BirdTRD post was more-so suggesting that the stock ones would be seized up due to rust. You lucky bunch south of the rust belt don't know the woes of swearing at rusty bolts. |
