my 2020 BRZ PP - car has less than 200 miles but couldn't resist... lowered her over the weekend on Tein Flex Z with spacers and perrin riser for the spoiler.

Bad news. My 2.3l stroked and bored engine for the tS is on hold due to Corona. The custom JE pistons won't be ready any time soon. 2 track cars and neither running.

Did manage to play with my tS's cooling stack. Looks like everything is going to play nicely. Still need to grab material to mock up some ducting also some 3/16" foam tape for between the cores too. So much thinner than my turbo car's setup.

Also gave in and threw on the JDM Sti fender garnishes on her. Had them a few months now. Happened to be debading the Evo so went ahead and removed and retaped the garnishes.

Haven't posted up in a while, but today I finished detailing my '17. Clayed, compounded, polished, and finished with a coat of carnuba wax. She cleaned up alright considering 48k miles of all season driving in the northeast.

Also cleaned up the interior and threw on a JDM STi knob, so basically stock PP for now aside from the SSR's (17x8.5/+48) and PS4S in 245/40... I'm waiting patiently to get off warranty before I install a set of RCE Yellows and camber bolts

My battery is currently sitting outside of the car... Fully charged, just need to put it back in its rightful place and start the car, drive it even.. but I think we've got another few months of lockdown...

Don't let the warranty stop you from installing Springs

i don't like having to deal with the relearning and reprogramming of everything.

but i'm still on the original battery, so at this point, everything is bonus time.

My past self would 100% agree with you! My first bugeye WRX had a full swap before it was off warranty (might have been a lease, too)
I rationalize it this way... If I were going to go full coils like on my past Subarus I would have done it already, since it's an easy swap out, were something to happen. But since I'd be splitting up the Sachs setup to install the RCE's, I figured it would be better to wait. The stock setup isn't torture, either!
Confirmed that it was a wise move when I had an axle nut replaced under warranty not too long ago. Minor, but it wouldn't have been covered (by my dealer at least) if the car had springs already. I actually thought it was the axle itself making the click, which would have been a costly one to bear on my own.
Anyway, I'm with you... but still waiting another 2k miles in case an axle or something acts up again

tonight i took the car for a pizza i intentionally ordered from a shop a few towns away. "essential food run!" [snicker]

i can rest easy that 1st and 2nd still work all the way to redline. but as they say, no test is complete without repeated testing. so i might have gamed a few signals to ensure i was first at the red light...

Roll center correction kit made much more of a difference then I was expecting. Highly recommend if you have the tools to do the install.

Miss my old Perrin front sway links though. They stiffened up the steering feel quite a bit, especially on center.

"Real" or "faux" leather? Or putting in a way you will understand it "peasant spec" or "aristocrat spec"?
