Now with the Red Supra sold, my brother and I want to get a new project...


We were looking at a few older Espirits to do an engine swap on, but there aren't too many detailed resources on doing swaps to those cars. We were thinking going LSx, but who knows...

Any other cars you guys might recommend that would be an unusual/unique but yet doable project?

Esprits were my first supercar love. However, doing research into them, if turns out that they are absolutely epic pieces of shit. Rusting frames, delaminating fiberglass bodies, none of the electrical worked even when new, loved to overheat, etc... Engine swap would be cool, but even the frames and bodies are shit. Too bad...

How about a Mk2 Supra with a 1UZ V8 and ITBs?

We could go down the old Supra route... A 1UZ with ITBs makes me feel all warn and fuzzy inside! I bet it would sound beautiful!

I would totally be into something like that if it could be road legal, I'm just not sure there's any way to do that. I'm a sucker for high rpm.

That's what I eventually want to do, get an MR-S, and when Toyota finally brings over a 6 speed manual in some econobox POS I want to swap some rods and cams and rev the crap out of a 1.5L motor or something...8000-8500rpm would be pretty good tbh.
