Hi all !! New here as well.
I am a french guy living in Japan (so forgive my poor English). I just got my toyota 86 this sunday. I have to change the plate number, then I lower it for about 1.6inch (law is strict in Japan) I know opinions are mixed here about wide body kit, but I love it. I am not looking for speed since in Japan highways are limited to 50 mph (62 in some very rare places) so it will be mainly a "imo clean" stance build. I'll take more pics soon when I have time.

Typically I'm not a fan of widebodies but I REALLY like this one. Maybe its that it's on a black car so its more understated and looks more blended in to the car. I also love the red pinstriping. Enjoy your car and welcome to the forum!

Thank you very much !! The previous owner did all this nice job. I drove it a little bit the last few days and it feels awesome. It is my first FR (until now I somehow owned only FF cars) so I'll need to get use to it, but I love the feeling so far.

I just picked up a 2016 FR-S on Saturday 4/18/20. I've been lurking the forum for the past few days and learning as much as I can. I already have several things on order to make it more "mine".

New member here from the Bay. Picked a 2013 FR-S. Former BMW (330ci Supercharged) enthusiast just changing it up and looking forward to my build with the help from you guys. I will start a build thread asap as parts are already pouring in.

Recently picked up my '14 FR-S, Original owner installed Eibach Pro-Plus Kit (Springs, anti-roll bars F/R), Koni Yellow shocks, SPC adjustable lower control arms on all 4 corners, and an axle back muffler delete. (MAX prep for SCCA SSC class for those who autocross).
Swapping from a VW Golf to this as a daily, so *quite* the change! ![]() ![]() And it came with a nice set of TR Motorsports 17x8 wheels

Hello All..!!!
Finally got my account working and happy to say hello! I've read a lot posts from a lot of individuals to help my 2016 FRS get to here and consider all you my brothers and sisters. I love this car the more I drive it. My next project besides finishing the paint job on my rear spoiler is thinking about high flow cat front pipe. I'm currently working on the MAF scaling for the perrin intake.
Tomei UEL catless Tomei Overpipe Borla Catback OFT stage 2+ petrol Mtec shifter springs and clutch spring Perrin shifter bushing TS short throw shifter Raceseng shifter Raceseng pulleys Perrin CAI and inlet tube Avid 18x8.5 245/35/18 Mich PSS all around ARP lug bolts Godspeed RS coilovers almost an inch lowered might eventually do that extra .2 or so, don't really want to go much beyond that without rear LCA and toelinks (I know that godspeeds are cheap but they're ok, and got the wheels tires and coilovers for about 1700 so I said ok) Great to be here and hope I can help as much as all have helped me. |
