I'm in the same boat as you, looking for things to do on my 86 while in quarantine. I just bought a new set of Tein Street Basis Z coilovers the other day, waiting for my new brake pads and rotors to come in so I can do all the work at once.

I have a friend who has these coilovers installed on her 2015 FR-S. They feel extremely similar to the stock suspension, maybe just a tad more firm. A great plus is they're ride-height adjustable, so you can raise the car in the winters and bring it back down in the summer.

I specifically bought the Street Basis Z over the Flex Z because 1) they're cheaper, and 2) they feel similar to the stock suspension. I daily my 86 and would appreciate the comfortable ride of the Street Basis Z. I'm not saying the Flex Z has a harsher ride, I just don't see myself tinkering with the camber and dampening adjustments included with the Flex Z. I'm willing to overlook these features. Just my two cents.
