Isn't it vacuum bag way is lighter vs wet lay? Or did I learn that incorrectly?

I was thinking of having TRD style one w bottom of the fin part have cutout to have lil vent, so it's like GRMN, but having the vent in the rear than front, cuz that's where the ventilation mainly coming from... but I haven't seen the TRD garnish, so not sure if it works or not or even have a space to have a vent.

Yes, that is correct. It is typically lighter and stronger.

You get a more uniform distribution of resin and less air bubbles. The layers of fabric don't want to stay together and will separate where they overlay. When you do a wet lay you need to roll the part out as it cures to get the bubbles out.

One of my guys here used to be a mold maker for a company that made bath tubs and shower surrounds. He is pretty good with fiberglass. This is pretty much the same process. He has taught me a lot.

I was sort of considering it, but the kouki TRD sideskirts aren't compatible because the piece between the front wheel and door fills the entire gap rather than stopping about halfway like with the zenki.

Yeah plus fenders are 10mm (maybe 15mm) wider than stock.

Actually one of my very few complaints (not really a complaint as much as an objecting observation) is that they make a big deal about the orange stitching on the steering wheel, shift boot and dash but just did the door panels and back seat in black. Some more of the orange sticking on some other places would have been nice.

That part I didn’t know. I would of expected they would done all orange stitching. They cheap out! Smh
