Awesome pics...
What would be really great with a weight loss build is some sort of performance data just to get an idea. Do you plan on doing 0-60 or any 1/4 mile runs with one of those Dragy GPS things? I do understand that straight-line performance is not the purpose of the car or even this build, but just to get an idea. Before/after track times at a local circuit would be great, too. Were you able to get any data before the build? Awesome update |

But I did get curious about the effects and went looking for a good weight @ HP calculator just for an idea. Obviously there is way more to #'s like gearing ect. But for a baseline idea of acceleration effects. I used this calculator https://robrobinette.com/et.htm Putting in weight 2774/ FLywheel HP 205 you get 1/4 mile at 14.6. I think most stock verified times are closer to 14.8. https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews...tested-review/ Entering weight 2350/ Flywheel HP 205 you get 13.8 in the 1/4. A difference of .8 secs. I don't think it would be that much maybe closer to .4 Then I put in 2350lbs/Flywheel HP 225 (estimating my power mods) and got 13.4 in the 1/4. Not saying my car would run that all but could be able to get into the high 13's. |

Good read. I only read up to page 12 (new to old) and maybe missed it, but you have looked into Radium Engineer ECU bracket? It may shave few oz than stock steel bracket.
![]() Max Orido's rear diffuser might be lil bit lighter than Verus Engineer and it's designed for kouki bumper, so sadly zenki owner like me can't use it... but you can of course, 326Power ver looks small and prob lighter, but feels like not as functional as Max Orido one. ![]() For interior, TRD JP finally released some cf good. Door cover weight 1.2kg each (2.6lbs) ![]() ![]() ...but spending $4,400 just for door covers is hard pill to swallow. There's alumium door cover from Spnywoosh. I've heard some of older ver doesn't fit well, but cost only $220 isn't bad and shave 4lbs-ish total. ![]() Now... if someone can make a copy of 14R aero kit. Cuz front bumper & wider fender costing total of $15k! lol ![]() Anyways, keep up the good work! |

Those door covers look amazing from TRD I wasn't aware of them. I weighted the stock door panels and they came in at a hefty 6lbs each. A forum member had those alumimun ones but fitment was spotty im going to pass. |

14R front bumper = much want
Those door panels ![]() I have been thinking about carbon fiber doors. But in order to do so I would want door bars. Which bring my weight lost from the door right back up. Maybe one day.

As for 14R front bumper, it's full dry carbon fiber, so it's light and strong. It comes w it's own lil front splitter thing that look sweet. Sad part is its a set w fender due to 25mm wide (not sure that's a total or each side). But poor person like me, can't fork out $15k
