Yep, the whole farm smelled like a pig roast. I was scared to death that I was going to catch the swine fever -  Well, most all of our hogs, about 200, died. There went the farm cash flow for 9 months. Christmas was lean toy pickens that year. However, my father made me a "rubber band gun" - who remembers those? But, that's another story. |
