They're easy to find, get a 1200F thingy to help you.. oh, remember to switch off your lights and open all windows to reduce the thermal load in the house.

i'll try to mention it to my boss. his neighbor is the something-something-manager for fluke.

but with everything going on, i'm not sure how much he see's his neighbor right now.

looks like fluke only makes 1.

still having issues with that heat treater company? i'd say the machine, but i'm not convinced that it's a mechanical issue!

Thanks. I can find some 3k capable, but most places I find them don't have a way to calibrate it to that high or they are not handheld units and require a computer and special software. I've called 3 companies that rent them nationwide. Another local heat treating company has one but they use it every day and can't part with it for a few hours.

Yes, 4k down the drain in 8 days of running, probably will kill off the rest of them in another 8 days. Had a conference call with the manufacturer and his element wire supplier along with an industrial process engineer. The IP engineer believes it it has nothing to do with the controls and blames the elements themselves. The manufacturer thinks the elements are grounding to the case of the oven. I don't know how that could happen without a massive spark and smoke show. And I have absolutely no continuity from the element leads to the oven case

I sent sample wire from a new element and an old element that lasted two years out to a metallurgical testing company for alloy identification and analysis. I am betting it comes back with a lower then stated nickel content based on what the IP engineer told me. That or it is horribly contaminated. He wants to see how hot the element is actually getting under load to verify if it is an alloy issue, or if the element is going over the melting point of the wire.

I have zero regrets with my 720Form GTF1, despite it not being the best looking wheel out there. Though, they’ve grown on me massively in the 2 or 3 years I’ve had them. They’re probably the best bang for the buck 17x9 available. And they’re like 1/3 the cost of those ones! They’re cheap to the point that if I curb one, I’d probably just replace it vs getting it fixed.

Yeah, you always recommend GTF1. I did def look into one, just atm I need 17x8 to keep it in SCCA's SSC class plus keep it daily to reduce my so many wheels in my garage lol

My daily wheel concept is "if I curb/damage one, getting it replaced without hurting the wallet." but, but, but... these wheels are very appealing.
