You are about 9 years and 3 months too late. I could have lent you a couple of them from my previous employer.

![]() I sent sample wire from a new element and an old element that lasted two years out to a metallurgical testing company for alloy identification and analysis. I am betting it comes back with a lower then stated nickel content based on what the IP engineer told me. That or it is horribly contaminated. He wants to see how hot the element is actually getting under load to verify if it is an alloy issue, or if the element is going over the melting point of the wire.

I have zero regrets with my 720Form GTF1, despite it not being the best looking wheel out there. Though, they’ve grown on me massively in the 2 or 3 years I’ve had them. They’re probably the best bang for the buck 17x9 available. And they’re like 1/3 the cost of those ones! They’re cheap to the point that if I curb one, I’d probably just replace it vs getting it fixed.

My daily wheel concept is "if I curb/damage one, getting it replaced without hurting the wallet." but, but, but... these wheels are very appealing. |
