True but my spend level is about 5% what it usually is right now. I want to make sure if I get laid off I can pay my mortgage for a couple years. (Even though my tennants pay it but who knows how long that will last either) I was hoping to pay it off this year but that's looking like it's out the window. I have enough to pay almost half of it off but that's staying in reserves until stuff gets back to normal. I take no chances unless I'm raking the dough.

Oh, I'm not specifically referring to your situation. I thought we were talking about ichi. I agree that if your income is significantly lessened at this point, the best thing you can do is go into sustainment mode. I'm pretty confident my income will be fine through at least the end of the year, so I'm spending a bit more that I normally do. Well, I plan to once I get my other house sold at least. Not that there are a whole lot of things left to spend money on... House stuff is one. Car stuff... Maybe. Definitely takeout from the local restaurants (that one I'm doing now)

I'm just glad I paid my insurance up front this year so not too many bills just mortgage phone and internet.

Nah that's my Fiancée's problem. (She owns the house we live in). The other one I rent out and give her half of the proceeds as my rent. So she pays electric and water I pay cell phones and internet. It's fairish.
