How much does the hydraulic bump stop actually do in daily and spirited driving compared to your ordinary coilover? So far these have been treating me pretty nice on the streets of LA, except for roads that feel like garbage even on a stock setup.

If you are happy with your setup be happy with them. I'm just pointing out less money doesn't equal better deal. I've ridden in a lot of twins with a lot of different setups and on my my second set of aftermarket coilovers myself. The FLA's are pretty nice for the money.

You can get the Flex A’s for $912 with free shipping from Evasive which isn’t too bad of a deal. Revels don’t sound bad though. As long as you’re happy with it |

Drove it a bit. Went to take care of a couple errands and took the long way. Really nice Sunday drive with no traffic. Came up on another white BRZ with an exhaust and an aggressive backfire tune. Got up next to him and gave him a 🤙 and he just took off lol
Honestly, embarrassed to drive it with the fucked up bumper. Eager to get that fixed this week. |

Every day feels like a Sunday drive with this whole Covid-19 thing going on . At least in CA, don't know what's happening in Texas.

Traded out my Cusco gas pedal for the SRP one, and installed an SRP heel plate to protect my $40 eBay floor mats.

The heel plate? It’s bolted to my floor mat so it’s not going anywhere.
I guess there’s a chance your heel could get stuck pressing a pedal but I don’t think that’s likely. Edit: just realized you were probably talking about my floor mat. There are rubber spikes on the bottom so they don’t move around nearly as much as oem. Also there are the 2 locking tab holes Last edited by norcalpb; 04-02-2020 at 06:31 PM. |

Finished Brembo F/R PP brakes install
Took awhile to get all the parts together and even buying used off a 400 mile 2017 STI BRZ (Japan) it's expensive! Subaru gives you the PP for $1195. That won't buy even the Brembo rear calipers! The Brembos F/R, backing plates, hoses, pads, etc are over $5500 sourced from best discount pricing I could find!
I did OK used off a low mileage barely broken in car but it was a lot to swap out the rears. The rear backing plates have to come off to accept the larger rotors. Doing that means removing the rear axel nut, pulling your hub rear wheel bearing assy, completely disassembly of the entire parking brake components, and re-assembly. Now that it's done, I'm DONE doing anything to the car for awhile! Just wash and drive and enjoy it! |

Thoughts on the Cusco vs. SRP pedal in terms of functionality? I like the Cusco since it just bolts on and I think you have to drill into the pedal for the SRP. I heard the Cusco does raise the pedal a bit though.
