He was right about not moving. It could've broken loose and killed you.

It's the veins that carry the blood to the hearth (we call it collecting veins, carrying "bad blood" meaning having less oxygen) are not working properly, so the bad blood ratio in the body increases too much. And that would lead to stroke, some things on hearth, some other things. The story is familiar in my relatives. He said, my measurements were too high that I must not move at all if I don't want to die. And he said I'll be ok after the operation. He has a good reputation and he is a professor. So I decided to believe him and have it. I hope I've made the right decision.

(Edit: I mis-read the question. I didn't understand what is done exactly. I guess some of the veins were terminated; something like that.)
Oh, I see, sounds like you have/had varicose veins. Hopefully you will get your blood flowing in the proper direction, once the bad actors are stripped out. -

OK, I'm ready to go out into "the zone" and be around the natives.

NO, that isn't a medical piece of equipment that I'm keeping from medical people.

It's a AO with two combination cartridges one on each side.

Yep, when I found it in the basement, along with a couple of atropine injectors. I only had to use one of those once in civilian life.

With the old filters in place, I dawned the mask and took a deep breath. Ahhhh, yes, the smell of organophosphate insecticides first thing in the morning brought back old memories.

Luckily, I also found a full box of new, sealed cartridges, so I switched them out.

The question is, should I wear this mask out to the grocery store and freak everyone out or just leave it home, bow my neck and move forward, like I did most of the time spraying insecticides.

Before you jump on my case about not wearing a mask all the time while spraying experimental insecticides, tell me how many hours you have spent in a freshly, ditch irrigated, cotton field in Yuma, Arizona on a hot, sunny, July day with 105 degree F temperatures.

Scary, glad you're OK and had a good outcome. I didn't know DVT was hereditary. Was it sudden onset or ongoing symptoms?

Now that you shaved your legs, you're eligible for competitive road cycling events!

Well, I would recommend my personal medicine man, Séliš , from down on the reservation down by the Puyallup river, but he isn't taking on any new "patients".

You should paint 'radioactive' yellow warning symbols on the filters.. and carry a baseball bat in a rucksack.. and then you go shopping...

Our stores have them too, but it's not positioned right, and too small.
