Thanks for the feedback folks -
![]() I talked myself out of going out to the grocery store today. I will take your suggestions and go to the "safer" store (Safeway) early tomorrow morning, before things get so much touched. |

before the zombies attacked, i mean before the media blew this out of proportion, i mean before covid 19 started, i used to recommend going to the store an hour before closing time. was usually pretty desolate.
but i haven't been to any food places in 2 weeks now, so i have no idea what to expect anymore.

I went to the grocery (Wal-Mart grocery) this morning. Wasn't very crowded. I would say less than pre-corona normal. Basically everything was re-stocked. I even got a pack of toilet paper. Saw several people with masks. I wore gloves, more just to remind myself not to touch my face. Got everything on my list except mace. Had to go to a second store (Albertsons) for mace. Making bratwurst today.
I noticed gas went down about 25¢ to $2.31. |

I had a "holiday" today
No babysitting whatsoever.. Just me lying on my favorite chairs, and my phone in hand playing stupid car jumping game all day. Wife got very jealous and angry inside, but couldn't say a thing ![]() Earning this holiday was a hairy job; literally! I had to shave all my legs. It's a god damn hard and boring process and was a little painful for me. But I have smooth and shining white legs at the moment OK, there are some holes and bloods on them as well. I just had an "urgent" surgery that is not important. Long story short, a doctor saw the veins in my legs, and told that me being alive might not take so long, so I had to have an urgent operation. However the operation was a rather easy one; so that after I woke up, I walk and drive back home. Doctor said: "Today, don't force your legs too much, but tomorrow, you should have a good tempo walk for at least for 30 minutes." Being an evil myself, I've made some little modifications on what the doctor said while telling to wife, so I had a sweet day of fun at home at last

Just saw on the news how businesses in LA, Chicago, Philadelphia, and New York are boarding up their windows and entrances. I guess they know their population.

I'm learning English ![]() It's the veins that carry the blood to the hearth (we call it collecting veins, carrying "bad blood" meaning having less oxygen) are not working properly, so the bad blood ratio in the body increases too much. And that would lead to stroke, some things on hearth, some other things. The story is familiar in my relatives. He said, my measurements were too high that I must not move at all if I don't want to die. And he said I'll be ok after the operation. He has a good reputation and he is a professor. So I decided to believe him and have it. I hope I've made the right decision. (Edit: I mis-read the question. I didn't understand what is done exactly. I guess some of the veins were terminated; something like that.) Last edited by korhun; 04-01-2020 at 12:47 AM. |
