That's a great idea but unfortunately the white colors are different.

So long story short

I had an FRS trunk, we took off the wing and filled the holes by making plates and running a circle of weld around until they filled up

i took it home and hit it with a layer of primer till i could get it painted. at that time we mounted the new wing. and got it straight,

when the paint guy was ready i took the whole trunk off and brought it to him and thats the trunk with the wing mounted and painted.
no blending. and he did a swell job

I have a FRS trunk but the paint is whiteout. I have always wanted a TS wing. If you do not mind going to the body shop P.M. me! Or we could swap trunks and both go to the body shop. LOL
