That said, advice on how to handle it? Not asking for shop names or anything, but I was thinking about buying the bumper and all other parts that need to be replaced at the dealership, take it elsewhere to get it painted and putting everything on myself. I’ll have a body shop look at that panel dent though. It’s not too bad, but it still kinda bugs me. Didn’t want to start the 1,000th thread on this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

definitely give the shops a chance to price it out. it'll likely be cheaper/easier than doing it yourself.

Will probably do that tomorrow. That way I have a good list of parts that need to be replaced that might not be obvious. Might see what I can do about trying to reshape the front corner of the bumper with heat/hot water. Really reminds me of Humfrz’s mishap but in the front lol. If it looks fine to me, it’ll probably just be a the fog light and fender liner. Might not be as bad as I think, but I’ll take a closer look at it tomorrow and try to post pictures. Glad I didn’t crack a headlight or anything. Appreciate your input.

I did the ceramic coating years ago. It really looked good, and was easy to clean. Then she got kicked out of the garage. One winter outside and it was gone.

Well it has a 4 year warranty so if a winter kills it it will get redone!

Went to a collision center and total was like $1,135 for the bumper and paint, fender liner, fog light, side marker, emblem and all the other little things.

So she’s getting a new front bumper. I also want them to replace any other little clips or whatever that would need to be replaced as well as touch up a couple spots around the car.

@Tcoat, you should get a first gen bumper. Then your car will be perfect.
