It's not that things aren't still interesting, though. It's just that it has filled up with uninteresting people.
Car forums eventually reach a point where you end up with a lot of loud people, with fast cars, that don't know shit about them which end up accumulating nut-swingers, which ends up suppressing interesting discussions about the how or why questions.

Maybe. But that basically applies to the whole world. And people are kinda lazy. If person A happens to be a fast driver with a good budget but technically clueless, and person B knows his technical stuff, but isn't a naturally gifted or experienced driver and/or has no budget, who do the masses believe when it comes to advice?

There are currently 50 different companies offering or developing an intake/and or exhaust for the twins...I have yet to hear full confirmation that one company is currently working on cams!

Because you actually have to know what the fuck you are doing when developing cams. And can't bullshit your way out of material choices.

IMO, It really just comes down to the photographer and some of the equipment that can help enhance their vision. If I was to ever shell out some major money for a new camera, then I better have established a good amount of photo skills and business for myself, cause all that stuff can be really damn expensive. So yeah I feel ya and that's why I go with Cannon, but my father does pretty well when it comes to Olympus cameras. He always seems to find plenty of deals through that label.
