Well, it has been a restful weekend.
The tribe of granddaughters arrive at O dark thirty in the morning. How to keep them occupied this week? Wouldn't have that problem if we lived on a farm. OK. Study hall from 9:00 - 11:00 AM. That will make them happy - ![]() humfrz |

I forget which thread people were talking about music streaming in, but I've found Amazon prime music to work pretty well for me (once you figure out the UI). I just listen to a bunch of stations or pre-prepared playlists and save anything I like. If I don't feel like finding new music, I just throw my saved songs into a playlist and listen to that. If you have Prime already, it's included, though some of the more recent stuff is reserved for "Prime Music Unlimited" which you have to pay extra for.

WA isn't, but I wouldn't be surprised if it comes soon. We are expecting it to be announced for OR today. Though looking at the order, it is not as strict as some states.

Thanks.
Well, it isn't mandatory state wide yet, just encouraged. Tomorrow morning from 7-9 (hours for old people only) I'll go up to the Safeway store and get provisions. Yep, then it is easier wrestling TP away, from the old ladies - ![]() humfrz |

Good idea. Now that brings to mind a short back-in-the-day story (I know, what doesn't -
).As a young boy, during the pre-vaccine era, I contracted the measles. Since I had three younger brothers and a sister, my parents didn't want me to give it to them, so they sent me to live with my grandparents for about a week. My grandmother had to keep the house dark because the light hurt my eyes and I had to wear gloves at night so I wouldn't scratch myself. During that week, my grandmother taught me every card game in the book. I became an expert card shark at age five or whatever. Yep, no playing outside in the daylight, no TV and only adult radio programs. THE END humfrz |

My maternal Grandmother used to have huge penny Poker games with all her grandchildren. By the time we were 10 we all knew how to play 5 and 7 card stud. Sometimes the game would have her and 5 or 6 grandkids around the table like it was the Jr. Poker World Series.

Our family card game we always played with granny was contract rummy. A game would go on for hours. Super fun with 6 players. Great memories.

Screw it. I'm taking a midday break. I have to learn how to pace myself in this new work environment. OTOH days have been flying by.
