Same here. Though I usually work from home so, it really only affects me a few days a week.

On Friday night, my big boss wanted to have a dinner with me. I though he would like to listen my issues with my manager. He did. Then said he fired me. 20 years of serving a man, going to work on most of the holidays and weekends, just to be more productive. And being thrown out.. Explanation: "You are right and he is very wrong, buy I don't have a power over your manager; so I fire you!" I even wasn't allowed to come to the firm again and say goodbye to friends.

So it was a horrible weekend. I finished my CV at last (thanks to Boomerang's advice about template

) and today I go to some friends from other companies. Then my previous manager called me. He said he heard about my thing, and he wants me back

He offered me almost the same conditions, and I accepted it..

He said I'll be free on what I'm doing; even I may chose what to do. My job would be about research and development. I have no idea what I'd do, but he knows me; said I'll like it. I hope so. But I have some concerns: his team has really advanced guys doing crazy stuff.. I don't feel I'm as good as them.. I hope I'd achieve.. And the job is in İstanbul, another city.. But I'm allowed to stay in Ankara and work remotely. Once a week I'd go there and attend some meetings..

Sounds like it is a great opportunity for you. Hopefully they allow you to spend time with the other guys and learn some new skills as well

I am wondering if it is brake dust contamination wearing away at the seals. It should be fairly obvious if that is the case as the grease will be cakey.

I don't think it's contamination because you would have a mess of grease on the outside way before anything made it inside. I'll stick with shock load but admit it could be bullshit. If you do cut one open, I'm really curious about what you might find.

Well this trip was free maybe a slight gain. I had a $5 chip on the progressive to which got me the minor of a few grand. Sort of makes up for the fact that we came here to see the World Series of Bowling and they closed it to spectators...

MGM just shutdown, so the bottom half of the strip is completely closed. Ceasers is still open (for now) so the North part is open but it's pretty quiet. Old Downtown looks just like an other day LOL.
