Garbage. Do you have another, non-douchey dealer nearby? If not, contact a regional service manage and speak with them. Go above their heads until you get the resolution you seek.

Yeah, I'll give the other dealer in town a crack later this week. Not sure if this 'failed' attempt at getting my brand new car's defective taillight swapped is going to end up in a warranty database for all the other dealers to laugh at.

Anyone know if there is such a database to track inquiries from customers?

Has anyone who had their tail lights replaced seen condensation return in the new tail lights? Just want to confirm that it was an installation issue and not a defect in the tail lights.

Scion took care of me right away and gave me 2 free car washes for my time spent waiting, There is a recall on the early taillights, you need to talk to the head of that dealership and let them know this is not acceptable...

If you need any more info let me know, i have the work order but couldnt decifer any important numbers, and my taillight didnt even have water when i finally brought it in, they replaced it regardless. And sent my old taillight out for testing

I got some condensation in my rh taillamp just ordered both sides bad part is its gonna take a few weeks to get em : (

I just got back from the dealership. Service adviser said mine was normal since it went away in 2-3 days. He said if it didn't go away in a week I should bring it in, also mentioned it'll happen with the headlights.

Was I being paranoid? lol
