14 hp, 10 lbft, ok cool, I get that. But what is P norm, P drag, P wheel, M norm, why does one line show ~41 hp more then baseline and the other shows ~55 hp more then baseline? Are the higher HP lines supposed to be at the crankshaft? Were these measured on two different dynos, one being an engine dyno the other a chassis dyno? Or is P drag used as a calculation of wheel to crank hp. If so, why post that. It's a useless guess and only serves to falsely boost the appearance of the numbers in the graph.

Basically, WTF are you showing us. Let the id10ts buy the AP stuff with overly bloated BS numbers. Show us what you actually measured and with gear like you have in the pic, your stuff will sell well.

I believe that is the case. These dynos can measure the actual drivetrain drag on coast-down. So they take wheel torque, derive whp from it, then use the measured drag for a very close crank hp gain estimate.

(I think.)

Maybe they can clarify, but it looks legit.

Waiting for tuned numbers...

I wonder how it sounds with stock exhaust and just the added header without the cat

I have been wondering the same thing. As much as I hate the puny tips on the stock muffler, it does not seem to be that restrictive along with the midpipe. I want to here catless header and up pipe/down pipe with stock catback. If anything we can save a few bucks going that route...

14 hp up top after converting back to crank hp is decent. I wouldn't say eye-bulging, though.

What you should be looking at is the difference between the dark and light red lines. Not the blue. The blue is the hp at the wheel. The green is drivetrain losses. The red is green plus blue.

So 14 crank hp gain up top.

Edit: *** Snip *** (took this out since it's about as sorted out as it's ever going to get...)

Anyways, a 14 hp gain on the Lachute header is respectable and hopefully we will see a bit more once they tune it.

unfortunately I fear this will have to be explained a lot. At first glance it looks like they baselined it, installed a header and tested, tweeked something and then retested. The green line could also easily be mistaken for an air fuel ration line. I know I've already said it, but I really don't like the way they've put that together.

Edit, I not saying the chart is inaccurate, just that it's very easy to misread it.

I like it a lot, it does only need the dark and light red lines to tell the story for the most part, at least what you feel in the seat. 14Hp is GOOD and with some tuning -----> UP and UP for the Hp/Tq

This is entirely believable result, as a manufacturer of headers for the 6 cyl Subaru I know the power gain in the Subaru boxers also comes past 6200rpm, giving 30- 40hp at the 7300+ for the 3.0

Not the least suprised at this good result by Lachute, we done, well presented, great results. Would have to be a recommended BUY for the 86/BRZ customer ...... hook in people ------> especially if you are thinking of SCing at a later date.

Looks genuine to mee. Those looong primary pipes have to do something with the results...

Testing was done on a MAHA dyno like ours, and that's a + on credibility.

Can you post the single dyno with all the data (timing, A/F Ratio etc)?
If it's the same system you should have those as well.

I see you went with the flange/springs/seal ring system instead of the flex joint. Good job.

So that converted is a 10ish WHP gain.
