I think you still misunderstand what I have been saying. I don't want to use up a special car that is pristine. I would rather see those ones stick around in that condition for others to see and enjoy. I would rather have it's slightly uglier worn sister to use so that I don't feel bad by adding more ugly and wear.

Just got a call from my older grandson that you met last summer. He was asking if he could stay at our house for the next 3 school years. Apparently he has been accepted into the Manufacturing Engineering program at the college here. Gonna' really hamper my engineer poking (not really it won't slow me down).

Have you considered putting him up at your cottage?

It isn't available from October to April and is a long drive to the school. We are only about a 10 minute drive (or 1 1/2 hour bus ride) from the campus. He is a VERY good teenager so I have no concerns.

I suggest you come up and spend a week with us - mrs humfrz has a whole list of projects for you to "love on" -
