I'm taking the airlines. The only planes I actually can take at will are little prop planes that would take 2 days to get out there. Even if the boss let me take the jet at cost it would be hella expensive. Anyway Vegas flights are cheap (compared to most places).

Discussed job offer details today, official offer letter slated to come in tomorrow by end of day! Just going through approval process tonight / tomorrow morning.

Funnily enough I had to “skip” a meeting today in the afternoon so I could take the call with my recruiter. Then when I got back into the building I ran into my boss and he kinda gave me a weird look. Whoops.

This reminds me of a story. Ready?

I was describing to a friend, via email, the first dinner the wife and I had in India. It consisted lots of different things on a compartmentalised pressed stainless steel plate like the pic.



I was telling him what each of the servings were, how delicious they were and attached in the email is a picture of the meal.

He told me it took quite some time before he dissociated the picture in his head built from my description to recognising the mountain of crap sitting in a toilet bowl.
