But if you were to go much more over this, you will have to do some suspension upgrades. It's a light car and if you give it too much power, you aren't going to be able to put that power down and it will just spin the tires. I haven't changed anything suspension-wise on the car. Same shocks, sway bars, everything... I had considered a short shifter but I don't feel it really needs it unless you go with a lighter flywheel. I added a Fidanza aluminum flywheel a few weeks ago and it really brings out the character of this engine. It revs quickly and likes faster shifting now. But for me, I think the stock shifter works just fine. Even though I've changed a lot on this car, I also want it to look like it came from the factory the way I have it. I wanted it to look more like a true STI version should have looked and performed. The car needs a little boost. I like the positive displacement supercharger of the Cosworth. It's completely predictable and linear in power delivery. I have never driven a turbo BRZ, but I suspect it wouldn't be quite as fun. |

A stock twin on the dyno my car was tuned on puts out about 160-165hp.
My car is 240 on gas and 310 on e85. The car is completely ruined. |

I don't know if more power would ruin my car, but, it may ruin me.
Every time I think I need more power, I'm thinking about doing something dangerous or illegal. humfrz |

More power = more fuel consumption = more trips to the fuel station or a much larger fuel tank.
With a larger engine + turbo + more fuel weight , what happens with balance and brakes? |
