Just finished a rewatch of Fate/Stay Night UBW last weekend. Such a great one. Wish the music was a bit better but otherwise can’t complain. Tried to get my brother into it but he didn’t like it lol.

The only active anime I’ve been keeping up with is Sword Art Online. It’s just so good. I highly recommend it.

Maybe it's just the coloring. Can't really explain it, but it's more "Americanized" if that makes any sense.

SAO is about the only thing I followed other than Demon Slayer. The rest wore pretty thin. Looks like I get a decent break this next season too.

July 26th. Finally something for the older UC fans.

Stumbled upon "Murenase! Seton Gakuen." I think it's a new series based on a manga, so I don't know how many episodes they have right now. The first episode is funny and was good enough to make me want to watch the series.

The thread title clearly say "Anime discussion"
So get that manga stuff outta here!

Lol I'm joking. Who knows. The only manga I read is hentai stuff.
The only manga I actually read was Berserk, Claymore and Gunslinger Girl.

Most of em are Isekai series & recently hooked on manga called "Potion-danomi de Ikinobimasu!"

Current season, I was expecting a bit more good series.. but atm there are only 4 series I enjoy watching.
- Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta. (My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!)
- Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai?: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen (Kaguya-sama: Love is War Season 2)
- Kakushigoto
- Houkago Teibou Nisshi (Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater)

Otome Game is def my fav one this season. Of course, I've been reading the manga, so I knew the story. They def found right person to all the chara.

Does anyone have suggestions on an anime, that fits the following criteria (I know, I'm crazy)-

1.No character that is focused on boobs/females in general like the bubble head guy in My Hero Academia or Kon from Bleach

2. Very little fanservice

3. Good story

My real goal is to find another anime that I can binge with my wife. We love 80s and 90s anime like Yu Yu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, and some newer ones like Fate Stay Night. Fate is by far the most recent anime we've watched. Most others have a tendency to try so hard with the humor and make the characters obnoxious (Even Fate is guilty of this with Ms. Taiga).

Hunter x Hunter is on my list already, but I'm slightly put off by the main character. Also not into extreme anime like Baki. We also like Fruits Basket and Clannad, slice of life type anime, but this genre specifically is hard to find without it being fanservice oriented. The amount of anime I have tried has been extremely limited, so I'm sure someone will have a few that may fit well, I'm asking because I'm not that patient to go and watch the first 5 episodes of 50+ animes.

I have Netflix and Hulu services, which also limits this quite a bit.

Thanks in advance!

I don't know much about anime, but did think of this thread when I saw the press release from BigScreen that they were bringing anime to VR.

If you don't know, BigScreen is a service for VR that shows movies in a virtual theatre where you can gather with your friends, or the general public, to watch movies, events, etc. I've watched a couple of 30 minute type shows in it, not sure I could do it for an entire movie.
