Shoegazing
is a subgenre of indie and alternative rock that emerged in the United Kingdom in the late 1980s.It is characterized by its ethereal-sounding mixture of obscured vocals, guitar distortion and effects, feedback, and overwhelming volume. The term shoegazing was coined by the British music press to describe the stage presence of a wave of neo-psychedelic groups who stood still during live performances in a detached, introspective, non-confrontational state with their heads down. This was because the heavy use of effects pedals meant the performers were often looking down at the readouts on their pedals during concerts.

Damnit. Can’t fall asleep. Probably has to do with a mix of accidentally taking a ~3 hour nap after work yesterday and then having some tea with caffeine with dinner. Whoops.

Debating about hitting up Bill’s Cafe in 45 mins when it opens for some biscuits and gravy + side of corned beef hash.

Never had the B&G at Bills. Could never get past a salmon Benedict, sub English muffin for bagel. Yum.

But I might just try and plan to go tomorrow. Been itching to have a nice breakfast lately.

I hate that. Stay awake all day and look forward to an excellent night of sleep.

Did you get breakfast?

The most useless information ever to be posted in the history of internet? Here it comes:

There is a large Toyota building near my workplace. Maybe Toyota does not own the whole building but the way it looks, makes me think they own all of it.

Last week just before I get out the work to home, which was late, I've heard serious amount of sirens. While passing the Toyota Building I saw many fire trucks, cop cars, and ambulances. I had been requested to come home "immediately!" and a bit tired, so I didn't stop. Afterwards I couldn't find any news about the incidence. I was telling about it to a friend, our office manager lady who lives close to the building heard my story and told me that: it was a small fire on the "Toyota Sign" and they extinguished it immediately. No one was injured, or any damage occurred.

Now I wish the butterfly effect this incidence would lead to some series events in Toyota headquarters and the Toyota decides not to bring shitty Corollas to that building, but send some nice cars:

When you posted, it was 5:45 AM. Were you trying to fall asleep from the night before or trying to get to sleep for today?

Either way, your biorhythms are all fucked up -

Was trying to fall asleep from yesterday (Friday) for today (Saturday).

For the most part my sleep schedule is ok. Could be a little earlier getting to bed and a little earlier waking up but I still generally get about 8 hours except when I’m stressed out and can’t sleep or have situations like last night.

Like mentioned earlier this morning, combination of an accidental 3 hour nap after work yesterday and then caffeine after lol.

Need advice from actual car people:. I let my original battery get real low on fluid and I think that's why it is having problems starting. What are the chances I can fix it, and is it even worth the effort vs just getting a replacement?

We will be closing on a new house and starting to move in 2 weeks, so that factors in monetarily, temporally, and mentally, otherwise I'd look at this as an opportunity to figure out a more advanced/lightweight (li) solution. I could probably get a really cheap battery for now, but temporary solutions make my eyelid twitch. Need a slap and to be pointed in a good direction...

Yes, this belongs in the technical section, but I'd just be waiting for the RT crowd anyway lol.
