I'm more curious how this would affect aerodynamics since you're encouraging more air to travel under the car

Im not a Boeing engineer, and this is not an F1 car, but to me the holes are minimal and unless he is trying for a speed record possibly wont notice any Aero effect. But should help with the Heat issue ... in 5 months when summer comes around again in his area. But you give a valid point why this was not done when they made it...

Ahhhh…...yes, "speed holes" or ventiPorts.

I remember those from back in the day. Yep, what went around comes around (or something like that) -

Cooled down the engine, added 10 HP and 20 MPH to the top speed -

Back in the mid sixties my friends father who was a pilot had a Buick with the holes in the fenders, the car would sit for month while he was away, I thought they were neat till I saw close up they where Fake and closed off...

Back to that Under panel idea, I knew I saw this before ...

So 15 minutes of your time saves you 300$ not bad!

Well, actually not. Although Buicks are considered "land yachts", they normally don't go in the water -

Actually, La Salle had them first in 1934 and they were functional.
