Car was nice though. I like the blue that BMW uses.
I have told this before but there was this little old lady in a BRZ once that totally smoked me at a light. Wasn't fair though since I didn't know we were racing.
Keep in mid if I am calling her old she was OLD!

Haha I only meant that in the context of his modded car and behavior. He was older than I was expecting to see. Age is just a number. I know guys in their 50's who are still young at heart, doing stuff like running ironmans or doing track days, and living life to its fullest. Love seeing that.

Maybe she was trying to impress the young stud in the lava orange FR-S

Yesterday a guy pulled alongside me, the usual revving his engine, looking at me, bobbing his head, hand gestures pointing forward, clearly messaging he wanted to 'race' - and he was in a 1970's vintage Triumph TR6.

I don't understand that at all. He was an 'older' guy like me (both of us looking at 60 in the rearview mirror). My stupid 'street racing' days are long behind me (like, high school in the 1970's, around the time his Triumph was built). I thought most British car owners were cooler than that (especially ones driving antiques). Was my Japanese car that much of a threat to his manhood that he had to try and goad me into 'racing' to prove he had a bigger dong? Could he not stand the idea that a modern Japanese car was (probably much) faster than his 'proper British sports car'? For a couple of guys in their 60's?!?!?

I just thought it was pathetic, and ignored him. Maybe he had early-onset Alzheimer's Disease, and somehow snuck out of the house and took his old car for a ride.

Twice recently I've had dudes in fartcanned Hondas do dumb shit around me. Like a week or so ago, I was driving home (not on a highway, decent amount of traffic, but not stop and go) and a dude in a rattlecan paintjob, fartcan exhaust Prelude sped by on my left, slowed down so he was behind me again, then crept up to pace me. I looked over and gave him a confused, "what are you doing?" kind of look, then just kept driving normally. He then paces me for the next 30 seconds or so, flipping me off the whole time. I look over, start laughing, and just kept driving. He sped forward, then had to slam on his brakes to not hit the car in front of him, then I watched him cut someone else off as he weaved through traffic. If he was just looking at my car, why flip me off? If he was trying to get me to race, why do it on that road, with all the traffic? I just don't get it...

And today, I went home over my lunch break (riding the motorcycle today) and as I was standing on my doorstep, putting my gear on to get back on my bike, I heard that all-too-familiar "BRAAAAAAAAAAAAP" so I look around to see what vehicle was making the noise. Its a similarly ratty Accord with a loud exhaust. All the windows were down, so I can see the driver see me looking at him. He then slows down and creeps by, keeping his revs high (presumably staying in first the whole time for maximum douche-age, I guess?) looking at me the whole time, then looking in his rearview at me as he drove away. What was his intention here? Just looking at my car/bike in the driveway? Trying to flex on me with his loud exhaust? Or was he trying to get me to hastily finish putting on my jacket and gloves, sprint over to my bike, hop on, and go race him? I just really don't get it.
Theres nothing to get lol, that is just what's in the honda bible, it is a MUST for them to make others FEEL their ticklish presence. I have seen a dude in a Honda one time in Georgia, get out of his car and try to fight an owner of a WRX, I guess the Honda dude did not appreciate that the guy told him to stop revving furiously and acting like a flashy disgusting rat

Also had a guy with his girl in the passenger seat, in a 90s beat up Honda Accord. Dude was doing the good old "speed up and slow down". When the girl looked back at me, I spooled up and that's when he knew he was in for a surprise. I even had distance to switch lanes in front of him and even put my turn signal on, while clearing the blind spots. This was also on my birthday lol

Lots of weird mini flexes from dodge ram and other pickup owners as a of late.

Random downshift acceleration next to me on the highway in medium/heavy traffic on my morning commute. Literally downshift.. noise and brake because there is no room. Maybe they want to hear my car? I never respond.

I also have had a lot of people tailgate me on my favorite offramp on the same commute. It's a great corner as it connects two highways. I'll often just downshift and not use the brakes. I've had one of the same rev truck douche bags try and follow me about a week ago. I specifically carried more speed because of how annoyed I was staring at his headlights blasting me through the rear view mirror. I'm pretty sure poop came out of his pants when he realized trucks don't turn that well.

This is from July;

Battery died, had it replaced and decided to take the car to a scenic place with my woman.
A freaking soccer mom in a SLK tries to do some crackheadery and challenged me, kept up with her for a while then got tired and just passed her. Her face was so funny, trying to figure out how the shit a FRS took her near $100K car like that. Its mostly people challenging me on the highway and I dropping cars at them.

I had a coworker that was following me to one of our rural locations, me in the 86 him in his Challenger R/T.. I lead the way and he attempted to keep up (wasn't a race, just driving a little fast through the twisties on curvy but flat rural roads trying to get there). When we got there he said with all seriousness "Hey, just so you know I don't think your brake lights are working". That's when I told him they work just fine, I just don't need to use them unless I'm stopping.

He had pretty much had to brake through every curve we came to as I was taking it close to double the posted speed.

I am not sure what the hell he was doing. I was driving normal and he was sliding all over the place. Glad I was not beside him. I drive that road 5 days a week for over 5 years. It is always slick when it is wet.

MPGs = 0.1

Just shows how people are willing to race, even if they only have 0.1 miles till the next exit.
