That's just good collaboration. I've often used the we-must-go-deeper approach.

So reading through some funny yearbook quote article and thinking back, don't think my HS or JH yearbooks had a spot to put your quote... at least I don't remember em. You guys had it on yours?

we wrote on the couple of blank pages at the front or back of the yearbooks. the real ****s would take up a whole page.

My high school one did not, but my college one did for Seniors. I was a philosophy major though so I went all 21 year old heavy thinker.

I quoted Dan Folgerberg "Lessons learned are like Bridges burned You only need to cross them but once"

And the Walrus from Lewis Carroll "The time has come" the Walrus said "To talk of many things: Of shoes - and ships - and sealing wax - of cabbages and kings, and why the sea is boiling hot, and whether pigs pave wings?"

The Carroll quote was in memory of my favorite professor, advisor and mentor who passed away that year. He used portions of that quote almost every day in some context.

Before my professor passed away, I had planned to quote Meat Loaf, from one of my all time favorite ballads:

"You'll never find your gold on a sandy beach
You'll never drill for oil on a city street
I know you're looking for a ruby
In a mountain of rocks
But there ain't no Coupe de Ville hiding
At the bottom of a Cracker Jack box"
