More accessible torque. Car feels quicker. I also kinda like cruising at a slightly higher rpm because I don't necessarily have to downshift as much when going around traffic. Speed difference is about 5-6mph. 5th gear no longer shows up on my gear indicator, it's either blank or 4th

I certainly had plenty of race car problems but this was the first of 5 years that the car wasn't in an accident or lost its motor

My body shop guy even made a comment like, “we get these in often, we just keep seeing these particular models”. I told him there’s a joke online that they’re cursed lol

Well, that's too bad -

I suggest when you are parking in a parking lot, park between two large SUVs.

That way, the old farts backing up are less likely to hit your car.

I suggest makeshift pool noodles around the perimeter of your car if you're feeling MacGyver enough..especially if you don't have car insurance...the locals or Walmart may look at you funny though.

Actually the locals at Walmart would probably look at you as one of their own!

Conditioned my leather with Mothers. It worked better than the meguiars wipes I was using.

This is a 100% leather seat skin kit that I installed.

New clutch and pulleys today. The raceseng pulleys were still in great shape The OEM ones were changed. Chirping from belt area was the symptom something was up. 135000 kms on the car.

Debadged the FR-S today. Going to order Toyota badges (and wheel caps).

Also trying to figure out what the hell is up with my passenger sidemarker. A-clip will not pop in no matter what. Don't want to resort to ziptying or tape, so did anyone manage to fix theirs without resorting to such methods?

Try "adjusting" the clip with some pliers. Or check the hole it mounts in for bending. Honestly they are a huge pain and don't work very well

Agreed. I've tried different A-clips; nothing will go in.

The holes are indeed bent; I've tried bending them back into place, but no such luck. It doesn't look like it's such an easy part to replace either.
