I haven't bought tire pressure sensors for the winter tires, they were very expensive. So I have the tire pressure light on all the time.

I've noticed that the traction control has been activated very early and too often (in the default, no-sport mode). Winter tires have much better grip than the stock tires; however I haven't noticed this issue with the stock tires. Could this be related to lack of tire pressure sensors?

New 200mm Kenwood head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto - no need for the phone dash mount anymore. Plus new dual USB ports, Raceseng aluminum R-lock and the Canadian one-piece dash trim. Yes, the buttons are on the right for RHD vehicles, but I don't mind. Not a bad trade-off considering all the features. So much cleaner.

I'm sorry, I know I'm old and not as bright as I once was but... You have a 2018 BRZ with what looks to be the exact same head unit that is in my tS. That unit comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. So, why the need for the phone dash mount?
Kenwood looks good and if you like it better than that's money well spent for you. However, I fail to see why you'd change when the stock unit does the same thing.

Hey, I'm old and not that bright either! Lol.

The 2018 head unit sold in the US on the PP Limited only offered Apple CarPlay, but no Android Auto. And I got the phone mount for better integration while driving since the OEM unit was not wireless - it had to be connected via USB to the port below. I wanted wireless to still have all the functionality while keeping my phone in my pocket.

Plus, it plays DVDs and CDs, has a built-in and highly elaborate crossover for the OEM speakers which, to my surprise, improved the stock sound tremendously. It also is completely flush and can be controlled by either a wireless remote or swiping gestures - so no finger prints.

I also loved the one-piece dash trim. I hated the piano-black trapezoidal trim of the OEM head unit bezel - subject to much glare and dirt. This 200mm unit fits the opening perfectly without the need for the side "space filling" brackets of normal double-din units.

It's all just personal preference, I guess.

Was not aware that the US model didn't have Android Auto or that you had to have a physical connection. I guess that shows that Apple has more clout in the US. Or, SoA doesn't have a clue...

Plus 1 for being able to play CD's and for the cross over to give better sound. Live and learn, eh!

The 2018+ limited US radio does have both Apple and Android. Apple requires a physical connection. Android does not.(have not tested that is what the manual states)

I have a 2018+ limited and I have to use a charging cable for Android Auto. What page did it say in the manual that Android doesn't need a cable? It would be great to have it wirelessly connect.
