It is disgusting how much C-10's are going for. My co-workers dad DD's a 64'.

One of the guys here has a truck fetish. He thinks the 4th gens are going to be the next in line to go up in price so he bought 4, is doing the PDR and stowing them away. Periodically he throws them on CL at an absurd price to see if he can get any bites.

Unbelievable how the alternative fact media is politicizing the wild fires in ca. Next they'll blame the homeless in Seattle for them.

yeah, I'm not doing that. quit making things up to suit your narrative.

here's more real data on actual real usage:

Nah, we're supposed to lay off comments like this. I'm pretty sure @Dave-ROR has sobered up by now. If he hasn't, I'm a bit jealous really.

Although this one is a nice example, I'm not much of a C-10 fan or most other trucks from that timeframe. I do have a soft spot for a D series Ram but that was because my Dad had one, and it was red. Only brand new truck he ever bought.

I do like the Ford and Chevy trucks from the forties. If I was doing a restomod I think that's where I would start. If I had to pick though, a 1939 retromoded Chevy Suburban would probably be my truck choice...

My dad had one just like that. It rusted to dust in about 3 years.

Very common practice on old pickups right from the factory. There were painted bolts all over the place. That was back in the day when pickups were just used for work trucks though so nobody cared.
