Well I liked the green too much to buy a subaru instead. First new car purchase and the most expensive one I've ever bought by far... It doesn't quite feel real yet.
These things are the best new cars on the market if you don't drag race. Way better to drive on public roads than my Z06 was. Next step: winter tires. ![]()

Hahaha!! Ok so besides a rental car the 86 is the best. ![]() It’s funny though, I typically won’t even beat on a rental car. I have a lot of mechanical sympathy, even for a car that’s already been beat on. Lol A buddy of mine bought a piece of junk Hyundai Excel from the dealership he worked at for like $500, they were going to send it to auction or just scrap it. We beat the living hell out of that car. A group of us rolled it onto its side, and then flopped it back on its wheels. It finally died when the oil pan got ripped off after a jump and the engine seized. Poor lil Hyundai. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yep. You must have spent more time in the area than I have, we just moved up this year. It'll be an interesting winter. I'm still trying to decide which winter tires to buy and it's already supposed to be snowing this week.

Yeah, got it!
![]() Love the Fingerlakes. My wife and I go up all the time, even in winter. I actually have never been to that particular lake, but I knew it must be one of them. The map in the sign board seemed to match its shape. Philly can seem like the tropics compared to the Fingerlakes. Wonderful cool breezes in the summer, but ice fishing is quite popular since the ends can get thick enough to build a village of fishing huts on. Yeah, winter tires would be a must. And maybe a truck for the worst of it. Congrats on the move AND the car. Myriad |

The answer to this question is the best ones you can afford. The difference between the northeast and the rest of the US is that when we get 3 feet of snow overnight, nothing closes and we are expected to be at work on time in the morning. lol. And if the snow doesn't ruin your car the salt will.

If we got 3 feet overnight it would probably mean I would be half an hour or so late for work because I would have to clear the driveway for my wife before I left.
