I'm going to get new prescription glasses today. I am also getting prescription sunglasses. Maui Jim makes prescription lenses for most of their sunglasses. IMO, they are the absolute best you can get functionality wise. I am excited!
My glasses are so old... They were my dads in high school. I got my prescription put in them, but the frames are almost done. They have a few small cracks. I'd like to retire them before they totally break. via Imgflip Meme Generator

![]() Bubba says to rub it out and then hit it with some touch up paint. ($15) OR, have a body shop refinish it or replace with (and paint) a new bumper ($950). Last week, mrs humfrz closed our garage door on the rear end of her Saturn. The sound was horrifying. However, I couldn't see ANY damage. @Tcoat can attest to how tough the rear end of her Saturn is - ![]() humfrz |

One time years ago I spent a fortune having prescription Vuarnet sunglasses made. My prescription changed in less than a year. Now I just wear contacts.

I'm trying to figure out how Amazon, who's major hub is almost literally in my backyard, managed to send my package to a completely different state. It originated at the facility less than 5 miles from my house but got sent hundreds of miles away for some reason.

Is there a good way of teaching myself not to take work place project failures as a personal failure?
I tried to get fellow watch team members to unite under an idea of switching over muster times and the rotation for 24 hour support. and it got really close but then when our Chief put out a finite change date, all of a sudden people who I talked to had issues. And i felt like it was a personal attack, when they opened their mouths. My first class and someone I've worked with prior to this scenerio told me to "not take it personally" and its okay for people to disagree, and its fine if it doesnt work. But keep trying and Im tired. 10 years of trying and Im seeing the same sort of failures. I guess this gets reflected over to the real world in tha tmost successful people have a long list of failures. but its hard to mentally assume that's okay for me |
